Sati was born in Rotterdam in the Netherlands and grew up in a small village nearby. Electronic music became part of his life during his childhood in the 90s, but left his life again in puberty when he took a turn towards rock and metal. At the age of 23, he moved to the other side of the country to study in Leeuwarden. Fast forward to the age of 30, with an interest in personal and spiritual development, electronic trance music came back in his life by chance on a psychedelic festival in his home town Leeuwarden.
Sati is a relative new face in the psychedelic trance scene; his introduction to psytrance was in the summer of 2015. After recuperating from a broken leg, Sati found his way to the psychedelic scene again in the spring of 2016 and joined a movement called Status Aum, to help organize and decorate events with his crystal grids and explosive moves on the dance floor. Through Status Aum, Sati came into contact with DJ Paul B and DJ Wichuri and volunteered at several 3rd BIT Event's parties, following his passion for dancing to trance music and organizing psychedelic gatherings to entertain the willing masses. Being around so many DJs, Sati got interested in mixing his own emotionally charged uplifting downtempo/ambient sets. He has been mixing for almost a year now, and feels ready to play his tunes and show his mind and soul to the world.
